As an author, I struggle with succinctly summarizing my writing journey when asked about my books. Ask me writing advice? I can talk forever with no issue. But, be you and not like anyone else. Original writing has meaning to all. A recent vacation led to a wonderful exchange with my son, who has shown an interest in writing. I encouraged my son to develop his own unique voice in storytelling, emphasizing the importance of finding one’s process and avoiding perfectionism from the beginning of the road. Get the words down first. Then edit.
